It’s Wednesday so that means it’s time for another “Where in the world am I?” photo challenge! Like in weeks past, I’ll give no clues up front, but will periodically tweet and post clues on my Facebook and Google+ pages to help you out. So, if you don’t already follow me on Twitter, click HERE. Do you know where this photo was taken?
One winner will be randomly selected from those who answer correctly and will be featured on my Facebook Fan Page, Twitter and Google+ Page with his/her name, blog, twitter, as well as a brief bio.
You’re not done yet! Be sure to check out Budget Travel Adventures where you can play along with more fun photo challenges.
Here are the clues I’ve given so far:
Clue #1: A famous book was written in this house.
Clue #2: The author was featured on a U.S. postage stamp. Clue #3: A really famous movie was based on this book. Clue #4: Sadly the author was struck and killed by a speeding car. Clue #5: The city famously burned to the ground twice, only 53 years apart. |
The answer & winner for this week’s “Where in the world am I?”
Congratulations to Jenna Francisco of This Is My Happiness for knowing this photo was taken at the Margaret Mitchell House in Atlanta, Georgia! Margaret Mitchell is the author of the Pulitzer-Prize winning novel, Gone With The Wind.
This is Jenna’s second time answering correctly on my photo challenges. Her travel blog, thisismyhappiness.com focuses on art, traveling with children, and the places Jenna loves visiting, especially the ones she calls her second homes—Brazil and the Czech Republic. On her blog she shares her optimistic perspective on life, culture and people she’s met along the way. Be sure to check her out on Facebook and follow her on Twitter too!
Here was last week’s photo, correctly identified by Cathy Sweeney of Traveling With Sweeney as Vienna, Austria! Cathy started her blog so she can share her perspectives on places she’s been, places she wants to go, great travel ideas she’s heard about, tips she’s learned or just travel-related topics that she find interesting. Be sure to check her out on Facebook and follow her on Twitter too!
