4 European Cities for a Fantastic Weekend Getaway

It’s time for a holiday! Here are four great European cities with tons to see, taste and experience, making for the perfect weekend getaway.


Prague, Czech Republic offers much to do for visitors of all ages. For the sightseers of the group, there’s the Charles Bridge, one of Prague’s most celebrated landmarks, and the Church of our Lady before Tyn, located in Prague’s Old Town, the Staré Město. For music aficionados, the Czech Museum of Music hosts a collection of almost one million items.

Prague’s nightlife scene is great for stag parties too. Most nightclubs keep the music going until dawn and beyond. Lavka Bar, Karlovv Lazne, Bombay Bar & Music Club and Zlaty Strom Club are some of the most happening places to drink, dance and have a good time in Prague.


Budapest, the capital city of Hungary, is jam-packed with fun things to do too. Visitors often spend time in the Castle District—the beautiful home to the Royal Palace, as well as several historic landmarks, museums and fine dining establishments. Beautiful Barcelona, Spain, is home to spectacular architecture, rich culture and a vibrant nightlife. For those interested in sightseeing, be sure to visit the Sagrada Familia, Barcelona’s landmark cathedral, designed by famed architect, Antoni Gaudí. For sports fans, the Barcelona FC Museum is a must-see, with rooms galore of football memorabilia. Kids will enjoy the Barcelona Aquarium—one of the best in the world—drawing over a million visitors annually.

For those in the mood for some fun nightlife, there are many choices as well. Visitors often start their night in Old Town or on Las Ramblas, home to many sports bars and restaurants. Stag parties can find fun and excitement in the Gothic Quarter as well.
